Dear Church Family,

As we approach Thanksgiving, my heart overflows with gratitude for all that God is doing in and through our church. This has truly been a remarkable year—a year filled with growth, life change, and the unmistakable blessing of God’s hand on our congregation.

One of the greatest joys has been witnessing over 80 people baptized in 2025 (check out photos from Praise in the Park). Every story represents a transformed life, a step of obedience, and a testimony of God’s grace at work. What a privilege it is to celebrate new beginnings together.

I’m also incredibly thankful for the next generation God has entrusted to us. Each week, our ministry to children and youth continues to grow, with over 100 young people—from infants through 12th grade—discovering God’s love in Sonshine Kids and our student ministries. To see their hearts being shaped for Christ fills me with tremendous hope for the future of our church.

This has also been a season where many have stepped into new roles of service. From hospitality and worship to outreach and discipleship, new volunteers are using their gifts, strengthening our church family, and advancing the mission God has given us. I am deeply grateful for every servant-hearted individual who said “yes” to being part of what God is building here.

We’ve also seen the birth of new men’s and women’s ministries, providing fresh opportunities for connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth. These gatherings have already made a meaningful impact, and I’m excited to see how God will continue to use them to strengthen relationships and deepen faith.

Beyond our walls, it has been inspiring to watch so many of you engage with our community—loving, serving, and shining the light of Christ where He has placed you. Your involvement is making a real difference, and I thank God for the heart of compassion and generosity that defines this church.

As we gather around our tables this Thanksgiving, may we take time to reflect on God’s goodness, His faithfulness, and the privilege of being part of a church where lives are changed and hope is rising.

Thank you for allowing me the honor of being your pastor. I am grateful for each of you, and I look forward with anticipation to all that God has in store.

With love and gratitude in Christ,

Pastor Kevin Young
