Continue the Vision

Dear Church Family,

Grace and peace to you.

As I reflect on who we are as a church, I am continually reminded of God’s faithfulness across generations. Since our founding in 1907, the Lord has blessed this congregation in remarkable ways. Through seasons of growth, challenge, and change, God has always proven Himself faithful—and His people have always responded with trust and obedience.

Throughout our history, there have been moments when this church stepped forward in faith to prepare for the future. Each building project, each expansion, and each act of obedience was born from a willingness to trust God beyond the present moment. One such season was our previous campaign, Catch the Vision, grounded in the words of Proverbs 29:18: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” That generation discerned God’s direction, responded with faith, and laid foundations that we now stand upon.

Today, we enter a new chapter—Continue the Vision.

This campaign is not a departure from our past, but a continuation of it. We are following the lead of those who came before us—men and women who believed that God was not finished with this church and who were willing to sacrifice so that future generations could know Christ, be discipled, and find a spiritual home here. We are beneficiaries of their faithfulness, their generosity, and their obedience.

Now, it is our turn.

Continue the Vision is a call to generosity and sacrificial giving. It is an invitation to trust God once again as we step into a new season of ministry and mission. What we sow in this season is not just for ourselves, but for those who will come after us—children, youth, families, and individuals who will encounter the gospel because we were faithful today.

Scripture reminds us that those who sow faithfully will reap in due time. As previous generations sowed into what we now enjoy, we are being called to sow for the future. This is a moment to pray, to listen, and to respond in faith as God leads each of us.

I invite you to join me in seeking the Lord’s direction, asking how He would have you participate in Continue the Vision. Together, trusting God as we always have, we will move forward—honoring our past, embracing our present, and preparing for the future He has planned.

With gratitude for you and confidence in God’s faithfulness,

In Christ,

Pastor Kevin Young
