20 minutes — What is prayer?

• Why prayer matters (relationship over requests; prayer as the power of the church and the believer)
• Prayer as a lifestyle, not just an action

15 minutes — Building a lifestyle of prayer

• Have a time — Scripture, prayer, listening
• Have a place — a daily “sanctuary”
• Have a plan — reading and prayer plans

60 minutes — Prayer Models (20 minutes each)

• The Lord’s Prayer
• The Tabernacle Prayer
• Praying Scripture

Prayer Walk/Drive in Alexandria (All Churches Invited)

Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM

Meeting Location: Nazarene Church Parking Lot

• We have prayer cards that cover every road in town.
• We will begin with brief instruction and group prayer.
• We will then walk or drive through Alexandria, covering every street, home, business, and neighborhood in prayer.

We want to cover the leaders of our community in prayer and promote unity as we move into 2026 together.
