On Sunday, September 13, three Alexandria churches are coming together for Back To Church Sunday 2026—a community-wide day of worship, connection, food, and fun for the whole family.

Whether you attend church every week, haven’t been in years, have never been before, or simply haven’t found a church home, you are invited.

This year’s theme is FIND YOUR PLACE.

We believe everyone needs a place to belong—a place to connect with others, grow in faith, and discover the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Back To Church Sunday is designed to be an easy, welcoming opportunity to take that first step.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us at 10:30 AM for a combined worship service featuring:

• Alexandria First Baptist Church
• Alexandria Church of the Nazarene
• Christian Congregation Church

Following the service, stick around for a FREE lunch and dessert, along with activities for the kids and plenty of time to connect with people from throughout our community.

There is no cost to attend, but we need everyone who plans to come to register. Your registration helps us prepare enough food, seating, and activities so we can make this a great day for everyone.

When registering children, please be sure to include their age and/or grade so we can plan appropriately for our kids’ activities.

Back To Church Sunday is even better when you bring someone with you.

Think about a friend, neighbor, coworker, family member, or someone you haven’t seen at church in a while. Invite them personally, share the registration with them, and offer to help them register.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come.

You don’t need to know what to expect.

You don’t need to already have a church home.

Just come. There’s a place for you.
